Inventor:Richard Turere of the lion light fame

Lions are king of the jungle everywhere they live.In recent times ,the Masai community of Africa suffered a lot from the menace of this jungle kings...the lions frequently attacked cattle which left the villagers at an economic loss. What where they to do?That was the question on everyone's lips until Richard Turere entered the picture. As a cattle farmer  himself,Richard was deeply concerned.First he tried using fire.It failed.Next he tried using scarecrows. That failed too.his eureka moment came when he realized that the lions stayed away when he walked around with a flashlight.Richard designed his ''Lion light'' with a few simple wires and bulbs. This worked perfectly!Soon every farmer  was using lion light  to protect their cattle from lions and their crops from elephants.Paula kahumbu of the national geographic explorer noticed his invention and thought it was worth sharing. As a leader of Natgeo Big Cat Initiative,an agency that protects lion Paula saw that Richards invention could help save cats since the villagers need not slay them in a quest to protect their cattle.    Since his invention, thirteen year  old Richard has come a long way recently,he addressed the TED conference in the U S of A.He now attends a prestigious high school. As for the future,Richard hopes to be a pilot and he e set to achieve his dreams
